My philosophy about clients

I am a big believer in only taking on the cases that matter. I want to use the limited time I have to win fights I am passionate about. If you believe you are suffering from an injustice, please contact me. I will always try to give an honest opinion about the probable outcome for your case, and why I can or cannot take it.

My reputation matters far more to me than money. I will be honest with you if I do not think there is anything I can do to help you, so you do not waste your money. I would rather have a good referral from my clients than a few extra dollars from a client who would never hire me again.

What I charge

I bill a “flat fee” per case, depending on the type. This means that you do not have to worry about monthly bills or me padding my time sheets to charge you more than what we agreed upon.

I charge $500 to represent you pre-trial if you are charged with a misdemeanor. If you go to trial on a misdemeanor, there is an additional $2,500 trial fee. This rate does not include DWIs (Driving While Intoxicated).

For misdemeanor DWIs, I charge $1,000 to represent you pre-trial, with an additional $4,000 trial fee. DWIs cost more because they are highly technical, and take up significantly more time than other misdemeanors.

For State Jail and Third Degree felonies, I charge $5,000 to represent you pre-trial, with an additional $5,000 trial fee.

My fees for Second Degree felonies, First Degree felonies, and appeals are determined on a case-by-case basis.

I do not accept Capital felonies.

Payment Plans accepted

I understand that money is tight for people. I am happy to accept payment plans, provided that at least $500 is paid as a down payment.
